“ჩემო ძვირფასო ყოფილო მეუღლევ… ისე არაფერი გამხარებია ამ შვიდი წლის განმავლობაში, როგორც ეხლა ეს წერილი. მთელი ჩვენი თანაცხოვრების მანძილზე ცნება იდეალური ცოლისგან შენ ყოველთვის შორს იყავი. ფეხბურთს იმიტომ ვუყურებდი ხოლმე, რომ თავი დამეღწია შენი გაუთავებელი წუწუნისგან. შენი ახალი ვარცხნილობა შევამჩნიე, უბრალოდ როგორც მამაკაცი ისე გამოიყურებოდი და დუმილი ვამჯობინე, დედამ მასწავლა, რომ თუ კი რაიმე სასიამოვნოს თქმას არ აპირებ, სჯობს გაჩუმდეო. ჩემს საყვარელ კერძს რაც შეეხება, შვიდი წელია ერთად ვცხოვრობთ და ვერ გაგახსენდა ღორის ხორცს რომ არ ვჭამ, ჩემს ძმაში აგერიე. ახალი პენუარი შევამჩნიე, მის იარლიყზე ფასიც შევნიშნე 49$ და ეგეც ჩემს ძმას დავუკავშირე, მან ხომ წინა დღეს 50 $ გამომართვა.
ამ ყველაფრის მიუხედავად, მე შენ მაინც მიყვარდი. სწორედ გუშინ მოვიგე ლატარიაში 10 000 000 $ და ორი ბილეთი ვიყიდე იამაიკაზე მხოლოდ ჩვენთვის, ვიფიქრე ყველაფერს თავიდან დავიწყებდით, მაგრამ როდესაც სახლში დავბრუნდი გახარებული, ეს წერილი დამხვდა შენგან. როგორც ჩანს უმიზეზოდ არაფერი ხდება. იმედი მაქვს ბედნიერი იქნები შენი ახალი ცხოვრებით. ჩემმა ადვოკატმა კი მითხრა, რომ შენი წერილის წყალობით კანონიერად ვერცერთ კაპიკს ვერ გამომძალავ”.
P.S. არ ვიცი უთქვამს თუ არა აქამდე ჩემს ძმას- კარლოს, რომ ის ადრე კარლა იყო და… იმედია ეს შენთვის პრობლემას არ წარმოადგენს.
